What are some good alternatives? All I'm looking for is a nice-looking note taking app that allows for saving on your harddrive instead of the cloud, making audio recordings, and viewing / highlighting PDF's. I cant write anymore notes because the storage is full, but I also cant free up space because nothing gets exported correctly and moving notes into separate notebooks and syncing that for exporting doesn't work either. But since the syncing barely works either, I spent an hour trying to sync a 500 MB notebook before i finally gave up. So I figure I'll just create a separate notebook for each subject and try exporting *that* insted of an entire notebook full of notes, because maybe the file size is what's corrupting the export file. It appears to be a common problem since there's a 'help' page on their website in case you run into the problem - but there's no solution. Except the export feature is a complete mess and most of my sections end up being corrupted. Fair enough, I figure, I'll just export the sections for subjects that I've finished and that way it'll clear up some space. Some months ago I got an e-mail saying that I've used up all of my OneDrive storage. I've been using OneNote for the past three semesters.
